One of the goals of the Education Act 1998 was to foster increased involvement of parents in the life of a school.

To this end, it is important that a vibrant and well run parent council operates in our college.

Parents will be invited to join a newly established council in mid-September. The council, while meeting in the school, is autonomous. It will be encouraged to draft a new constitution, to elect officers and to affiliate with the national parent council bodies.
