Classes begin at 9.10 am every morning and conclude at 15.40 pm in the afternoon. The school will almost always be opened at 8:15a.m.

The school day is divided into nine periods. Four periods are of forty minutes duration whilst five last for thirty five minutes. This gives us a weekly total of 45 class periods and an overall time of twenty seven hours fifty five minutes. The periods are set out below:

09.10 – 09.50am
09.50 – 10.30am
10.30 – 11.05am

11.25 – 12.05pm
12.05 – 12.40pm
12.40 – 13.15pm

13.50 – 14.30pm
14.30 – 15.05pm
15.05 – 15.40pm

There is a twenty minute break from 11.05 to 11.25am. The students will usually eat their lunch during this time.

The longer break lasts from 13.15 to 13.50pm.

The school will remain open in the evening until approx. 6 pm. Please make arrangements with the Principal and Caretaker should you wish to use the school facilities after this time.

NEW PROPOSED SCHOOL TIMETABLE STRUCTURE 

The School are currently reviewing the structure of the school day and have surveyed staff, parents and students regarding their views.

• The new proposed timetable would see a move from a mix of 40 and 35 minute classes to all classes being 40 minutes in length
• 9 Class periods would begin at 9:00a.m. in the morning and finish at 3:55p.m. Monday – Thursday. The breaks would remain at 20 minutes and 35 minutes
• 6 Classes periods would begin at 9:00a.m. in the morning and finish at 1:30p.m with one 30 minute break.
